OPO Charities was founded by Chad and Danyelle Brausen with a simple belief: every child deserves opportunities that inspire hope, encourage learning, and create lasting memories.
Growing up with different experiences and perspectives, we came to appreciate just how much a child's circumstances can influence their opportunities.
We also recognized something equally important: a child's future is shaped by far more than what happens inside a classroom.
It's shaped by the excitement of walking into school with a backpack they love. The magic of waking up on Christmas morning. And the encouragement of a teacher who sees potential in a child before that child sees it in themselves.
These experiences may seem different, but they are deeply connected. When children feel confident, supported, and inspired, they are better positioned to embrace education and believe in their future.
That's the foundation of OPO Charities. We created three initiatives that work together to support children, families, and educators at different points in their journeys. Each serves a unique purpose, but all share the same goal: creating opportunities that help children grow into confident, capable, and hopeful individuals.
What began as a desire to make a difference for a few families has grown into a mission that has touched more than 1,000 children and hundreds of families. And we're just getting started.
